I really hate that

Do you immediately respond to a friend’s text message only to be ignored for hours? I really hate that.

Do you have those people in your life who promise to do something only to disappoint you by not following through? I really hate that.; And when they do this over and over and over again? I REALLY hate that. On a hot summer’s day, does your friend take the last beverage from the fridge and not replace it? I really hate that.

Do you have a friend who expects you to mow his grass, clean his house, wash his car, and be at his beck & call for years to work off a meager debt? I really hate that.

Does this same friend take every opportunity to bring up the fact that he lent you money at some point in the distant past, although you are already painfully aware of it? I really hate that.

Do you have neighbors who have animals they treat more dignified & kindly than human beings? I really hate that.

Do you get asked for money at every red light in the city by people holding up signs, yet appear to be making more money than you? I really hate that.

Do you walk into a room only to have forgotten why you went there in the first place? I really hate that.

Do you experience nights where you can’t sleep and find yourself watching the clock hour after agonizing hour? I really hate that.

Do you have those relatives who say, “Make yourself at home,” but when you touch the A/C thermostat they come unglued? I really hate that.

Do you have a partner that says she wants you to have freedom in the relationship, but when you want to go to your Buddy’s house, she freaks out about it? I really hate that.

Do you ever go to the store to make a purchase only to discover at the check out counter that the price tag on the item is much lower than the actual price? I really hate that.

Do you have a friend or relative who one-ups you on virtually everything, even the things you make up just to hear him one-up you yet again? Yep, I definitely hate that.

Are you getting irritated because, although you can relate to the things I’ve written, you wish this blog would come to an end? I can relate. & I don’t hate that. I respect that. Peace out. The end.
